The club offers a
wide variety of activities for members. Generally, they are organized
and hosted by members who have a particular enthusiasm for that
activity.
If you don't see your favorite activity listed below, please contact Don Vogel (749-5236) or Shirley Griggs (722-7455) to see
how you can start a new interest group. We are always looking for
new hosts and hostesses to expand our menu of events.

Bowling ONGOING When: 2nd Sunday of the moth, (check calendar for time, will change to

Concerts

Cycling HIBERNATING We have recently lost our "cycle maven" and are looking for a new one. Please call us if you're it.
Dancing
When: Almost anytime. Where: We often repair to the Westward Look for
dancing after Friday's Happy Hour. However, we also hold formal
events, such as our annual Spring dance, and recently, a Sock Hop, Halloween Dance, and New Year's Eve

Golf ONGOING When: 3rd Friday of each month at 8 a.m. This is also for players of
all levels. We just play for fun and exercise. Don't you

"low commitment" way to meet our members--no notice or RSVP required,

HIBERNATING EATS AND CHEAP MOVIE. When: 2nd Tuesday of the month, at

HIBERNATING DINNER AND A MOVIE
When: The 2nd Wed. of each month. Where: Meet a 5:30

Picnics PAST
When: June 15, Sun 11am. What: Fathers Day Picnic. Where: at Mt Lemmon,
Chihuahua Pine Picnic Area on the left between MP 11 & 12.
Its past Cypress picnic area, if you go past Windy Point Vista, turn
around you’ve gone too far. Try to car pool as parking is limited
and a fee charged by the Forrest District. Men do not need to bring a
dish – women will be cooking, all need to bring a chair.

The annual Mothers Day Pot-Luck Picnic will be held at Reed Park
- Ramada # 2 (Just east of the band shell entrance flagpoles), beginning at 3
P.M. (Set-Up from 1-3 / Cleanup from 6-7), on Sunday May 11th. The NETWORK will
provide the main meat course, drinks, and tableware setups. Planned attendance
for this event is 50. The men are to bring the rest of the meal. Side dishes,
(vegetable dishes - salads - fruit - potato dish - bread roles & butter -
deserts), will be required to complete the meal. Please contact Bill on his
cell phone 869-7320 with what you intend to bring. [MEN: Remember that for
everyone to bring hors d'oeuvres or desert makes for a very unbalanced meal.]
The women are being treated for this affair and are only asked to attend. The
women will be providing the food on Fathers Day. Non-Member
participants, (Male & Female), are welcome, but will be charged
$10.00 to participate. After the picnic, the music lovers among us will
retire to the adjacent band shell, where a space with blankets will be reserved
for the 7:00 P.M Tucson Pops FREE Concert. Bring a fold-up lawn chair for both
events.

money for the bus & tube rental (about $20.00) & gas $$ for

Tennis ONGOING When: Monday evenings, 6:30 p.m. Where: Himmel Park. Who: Contact

levels are welcome. We play for fun!. Non-players,
you can join us afterwards (approx 8:30 p.m.) at Bob Dobbs'
(N.W. corner of Tucson Blvd. and Sixth Street) for after game

Theater
